Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Controller to join our dynamic team in Mercure Hyderabad KCP Hyderabad, India. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in overseeing financial operations, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and driving financial performance across the organization.

Direct and supervise the accounting team in managing revenues, expenses, and inventories Oversee the preparation and analysis of monthly financial reports and management accounts Develop and implement robust budgeting and cost control measures Ensure compliance with accounting standards and financial regulations Analyze financial data and provide strategic recommendations to improve financial performance Collaborate with the Director of Finance in overseeing payroll processing and distribution Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and ensure timely reporting Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting and payroll staff Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings

Qualifications

MBA Finance or CPA preferred Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements Advanced proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail Proven ability to manage and develop high-performing teams Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis Knowledge of international financial reporting standards (IFRS) Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Excellent organizational and time management skills * Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and implement best practices
