Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced

Finance Controller

with a strong background in

Direct-to-Consumer (D2C)

and

E-commerce

business models, along with hands-on experience in

ERP implementation and financial automation

. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the finance function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, driving financial planning, managing compliance, and supporting strategic decision-making for scalable and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities1. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. Analyze business performance, margins, CAC, LTV, sales trends, and operational KPIs across D2C and marketplace channels. Present monthly MIS, dashboards, and financial insights to leadership for decision-making.

2. Accounting & Financial Operations

Oversee end-to-end accounting operations including AR/AP, reconciliations, ledger management, and month-end closing. Ensure compliance with Ind-AS standards and internal controls. Monitor cash flows, working capital cycles, and cost optimization opportunities.

3. ERP & Process Automation

Lead or support ERP implementation (e.g., SAP, Netsuite, Zoho, Oracle, or similar). Map finance workflows and ensure smooth integration of sales, inventory, warehousing, and finance modules. Drive automation for invoicing, reconciliation, payment gateways, and financial reporting.

4. Taxation, Compliance & Audits

Manage GST, TDS, income tax filings, and other statutory compliances. Coordinate with internal and external auditors for timely audits. Implement strong compliance frameworks across teams and processes.

5. Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

Lead and develop the finance and accounts team. Collaborate with operations, supply chain, marketing, and tech teams to drive financial discipline. Partner with founders/management for fundraising, investor reporting, and strategic decisions.

Key Requirements

Education:

CA / MBA Finance / CMA preferred.

Experience:

Minimum

10 years of experience

in Finance & Accounts, with at least

5 years in D2C or E-commerce

companies. Strong exposure to

ERP implementation, financial automation, and digital tools

. Solid knowledge of

Ind-AS, GST, TDS, compliance, treasury

, and

financial controls

. Experience in managing P&L, budgeting, cash flow, and cost management. Ability to work in a fast-paced, scaling environment. Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.

Pay: ₹1,549,915.37 - ₹1,918,326.57 per year
