The Finance Controller will oversee the entire financial management function, ensuring accurate reporting, statutory compliance, prudent cash flow management, and internal financial control across the company. The role requires strong NBFC domain knowledge and regulatory compliance experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Planning & Control
? Prepare and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and financial targets.
? Track branch-level profitability, cost ratios, and ROI.
? Ensure financial discipline and control over operational expenses.
2. Accounting & Reporting
? Supervise day-to-day accounting operations and ensure timely book closure.
? Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual MIS, P&L, and balance sheet.
? Reconcile branch accounts and ensure accounting accuracy across branches.
3. Treasury & Fund Management
? Manage working capital, liquidity, and fund utilization.
? Liaise with banks and financial institutions for term loans, CC limits, and renewals.
? Oversee disbursement and collection cash flow planning.
4. Compliance & Audit
? Ensure compliance with RBI NBFC regulations, statutory audits, and tax filings.
? Coordinate with internal and external auditors.
5. Risk & Internal Controls
? Implement and monitor internal financial control systems.
? Identify revenue leakages and operational inefficiencies.
? Support management in credit risk analysis and policy implementation.
6. Strategic Support
? Provide financial insights to management for business expansion and profitability.
? Evaluate new branch proposals, cost-benefit analyses, and capital expenditure plans.
? Assist in preparation of investor and board presentations.
Qualifications & Experience
? 5-10 years of experience in NBFC/BFSI sector preferred.
? Sound knowledge of RBI compliance, Ind AS, taxation, and audit procedures.
? Hands-on experience with NBFC accounting systems and financial software (Tally/ERP).
