Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced

Finance Controller

to lead financial operations for multiple client accounts. This is a hands-on role where you'll be responsible formonth-end closes, reconciliations, and system integrations, while also acting as a trusted partner to clients by walking them through their financials and processes.

Key Responsibilities

Own themonth-end close process and deliver accurate financial statements. Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure balance sheets are accurate. Manage and optimize integrations between Shopify, Amazon (FBA), QuickBooks, and A2X. Review and analyze client financials, providing clear explanations of processes and results. Partner with bookkeeping and ops teams to ensure smooth execution of day-to-day accounting. Support US-based CPG small businesses with operational finance guidance. Identify process improvements and help clients strengthen their financial systems.

Qualifications

5+ years of accounting/finance experience (with US-based small businesses). Proven track record of closing financials for Shopify- and Amazon-based companies. Strong experience with QuickBooks Online and bank reconciliations. Familiarity with A2X and e-commerce integrations (Shopify QuickBooks). Operational finance experience -- comfortable digging into details and improving workflows. * Excellent communication skills; able to clearly explain financials to non-finance stakeholders.
