Job Summary

The Finance Controller is responsible for overseeing the company's financial operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, compliance with statutory requirements, and effective financial controls. This role plays a key part in budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, and supporting strategic business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Control-

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Ensure timely and accurate closing of books
Maintain strong internal financial controls and accounting policies
Ensure compliance with accounting standards
Budgeting & Forecasting

Lead the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting process
Monitor actuals vs budget and analyze variances
Provide financial insights and recommendations to management
Compliance & Audit-

Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements
Coordinate internal and external audits and resolve audit observations
Manage tax filings (GST, income tax, withholding tax, etc.)
Cash Flow & Working Capital-

Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital requirements
Optimize cash management and cost controls
Oversee accounts payable, receivable, and treasury activities
Business Partnering & Strategy-

Act as a finance business partner to leadership and department heads
Support strategic initiatives, investments, and cost-optimization projects
Provide financial analysis for decision-making and risk management
Team Management-

Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team
Ensure process efficiency and continuous improvement within finance operations

Key Requirements:

Education & Qualifications-

CA/ MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification

Experience-

5-7 years of relevant finance and accounting experience (Preferred in manufacturing industry)
Prior experience in a Finance Controller or senior finance role preferred

Strong financial reporting and analytical skills
Excellent understanding of internal controls and compliance
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
High attention to detail and problem-solving ability

Pay: ?1,800,000.00 - ?2,000,000.00 per year
