Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Finance Controller to lead financial management, strategy and compliance at corporate office, Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will have expertise in financial planning, internal financial controls, audit management, financial reporting, taxation and compliance. The Finance Controller will provide strategic financial guidance, ensuring business growth, profitability and sustainability.
Direct Reporting: Chief Financial Officer
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Planning and Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligning with organizational objectives.
2. Cash Flow Forecasting: Prepare and manage cash flow forecasts to ensure liquidity and optimize resource allocation.
3. Audit Liaison: Coordinate with internal and external auditors, ensuring seamless audit processes and compliance.
4. Internal Financial Controls: Monitor, evaluate and strengthen internal financial controls, mitigating risks.
5. Budget Preparation: Develop, manage and monitor annual budgets, aligning with business objectives.
6. Balance Sheet Preparation: Oversee balance sheet preparation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
7. Financial Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, laws and accounting standards.
8. Financial Reporting: Prepare timely, accurate financial reports for stakeholders, including management, board and regulatory bodies.
9. Financial Analysis: Provide insightful financial analysis to support business decisions.
10. Taxation: Manage and ensure compliance for direct and indirect taxes (GST, Income Tax, etc.). Optimize tax strategies, minimizing tax liabilities.
11. Leadership: Lead, mentor and develop finance team members.
Requirements:
1. Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification essential.
2. 17-22 years of post-qualification experience in finance leadership roles.
3. Proven expertise in financial planning, internal controls, audit management and financial reporting.
4. Strong understanding of accounting standards, tax laws (Direct and Indirect), Financial Internal controls & SOPs and regulatory requirements.
5. Excellent analytical, communication and leadership skills.
6. Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and financial software.
7. Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
