Finance Controller - Healthcare
Role Description:
The Financial Controller (Deputy CFO) is a senior executive responsible for assisting the Chief Financial Officer in managing the financial activities of the organization. The Deputy CFO plays a critical role in guiding the financial direction of the organization.
Role Summary:
This role involves strategic financial planning, budgeting, financial analysis, and ensuring the fiscal health of the company.
Key accountabilities:
Financial Planning and Strategy:
- Assist in the development and implementation of the company\'s financial strategy.
- Collaborate with the CFO to ensure long-term financial sustainability and growth.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Lead the budgeting process and provide regular financial forecasts to support decision-making.
- Monitor actual financial performance against budget and provide insights on variances.
Financial Analysis:
- Analyze financial data and trends to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
- Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
Risk Management:
- Identify and assess financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and industry standards.
Team Leadership:
- Oversee the finance team, providing leadership, mentoring, and professional development opportunities.
- Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and accountability within the department.
- Investor Relation
- P&L and Debtor Management.
- Pricing Strategy.
- Internal Process and Control.
- Cost Management.
Strategic Partnerships:
- Collaborate with other departments and external partners to support company goals.
- Act as a financial advisor to executive management and the Board of Directors.
Mergers and Acquisitions:
- Participate in due diligence processes for potential mergers, acquisitions, or strategic partnerships.
- Support post-merger integration efforts from a financial perspective.
