Role: Finance Controller (Full Time)

Position Summary:

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in

local billing, taxation, MIS, payroll, GST, and TDS filing

while ensuring compliance with statutory regulations. Prior experience working in

multinational corporations (MNCs)

is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

1.

Financial Strategy & Planning

oDevelop and execute financial strategies aligned with the Group's objectives. oProvide financial insights and guidance to the Board and senior leadership for decision-making. oEnsure alignment of financial strategies with overall business objectives and long-term growth plans. 2.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Cost Management

oPrepare budgets, financial forecasts, and models to support decision-making. oMonitor and control costs, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost optimization. oConduct financial analysis to improve operational efficiencies and profitability. 3.

Financial Reporting & Compliance

oPresent accurate financial reports (income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements) to management and stakeholders. oEnsure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax laws. oMaintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards. 4.

Taxation, GST, TDS & Regulatory Compliance

oOversee timely and accurate GST and TDS filings to ensure compliance with statutory regulations. oEnsure proper documentation for taxation, customs duty, and compliance with transfer pricing regulations. oWork closely with auditors, tax consultants, and legal advisors to manage tax planning and regulatory matters. 5.

Cash Flow, Risk & Treasury Management

oForecast and manage cash flow to meet financial obligations and ensure liquidity. oIdentify and mitigate financial risks, including currency exchange and market volatility. oDevelop contingency plans to manage unforeseen financial challenges. oManage bank facilities, loans, and multi-currency transactions, ensuring optimal financial structuring. 6.

Import, Export & Trading Operations

oEnsure financial compliance in import/export transactions, including BOE, customs duty, and tariff codes. oOptimize working capital by managing trade finance instruments and banking relationships. oCollaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to streamline financial processes in international trade. 7.

Audit & Governance

oCoordinate internal and external audits, ensuring transparency and adherence to financial best practices. oEnsure financial records are audit-ready and meet statutory compliance requirements. 8.

Leadership & Team Development

oBuild and lead a high-performing finance team to support the India operations. oMentor and train finance teams, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement. oDrive automation and process improvements to enhance financial efficiency.

Skills & Qualifications:

?Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory. ?Minimum 10 years of experience in finance and accounting. ?Strong knowledge of Indian taxation laws, GST, and TDS. ?Experience in MIS reporting and payroll processing. ?Ability to work independently and take full ownership of financial operations. ?Prior experience in an MNC environment is preferred. ?Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

The compensation is around 20-25 Lacs inclusive of variable.
