Role Overview
We are looking for a sharp, analytical, and execution-oriented
Finance Consultant
to join our team. This role goes beyond routine reporting--you will act as a strategic financial partner for SME clients.
You will be responsible for ensuring financial hygiene, developing robust financial models, leading FP&A initiatives, and converting complex financial data into actionable business insights. You will work closely with SME founders and senior consultants to support strategic decision-making and sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Modelling
Build and maintain advanced 3-statement financial models
Prepare valuation models and scenario/sensitivity analyses
Support fundraising, expansion, and strategic decision-making initiatives
FP&A Leadership
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes
Design and implement KPI dashboards to track business performance
Provide regular financial insights into revenue, costs, and profitability drivers
Accounting Oversight
Supervise bookkeeping and accounting activities to ensure accuracy and data integrity
Design accounting systems, controls, and financial processes rather than performing routine data entry
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and best practices
Strategic Advisory
Analyze financial trends to identify risks, opportunities, and performance gaps
Prepare and present monthly/quarterly management review packs
Communicate insights and recommendations to client leadership teams
Process Improvement
Identify inefficiencies in financial workflows
Recommend and implement process or software solutions to improve reporting and controls
