Job Description

Role Summary



We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance & Collections Manager to drive credit control, manage in-house collections, and coordinate between our financing partners and internal teams. The ideal candidate will take ownership of sensitive, judgment-driven tasks that require a mix of operational rigor and strategic oversight.

Key Responsibilities



Oversee the complete collections lifecycle--manage escalations, exceptions, and disputes from customer acquisition through recovery. Evaluate and recommend credit/loan cases for financing partners (Fin1, Fin2, Fin3, Fin4) based on documentation and internal policies. Resolve complex customer issues, working closely with sales, field, and support teams to ensure customer satisfaction and compliance. Maintain and audit SOPs for all finance operations; monitor the effectiveness of automated and outsourced processes. Ensure all in-house documentation, KYC, and compliance requirements are up to date and audit-ready. Liaise with third-party vendors/agencies for physical verification, collections, and logistics as needed. Prepare accurate MIS reports for management and financing partners. Identify process gaps and recommend solutions for operational efficiency and risk mitigation.

Requirements



4-7 years of experience in credit, collections, or finance operations--preferably in NBFCs, banks, or high-growth startups. Proven track record in loan processing, credit assessment, KYC, and collections management. Hands-on experience with CRM/ERP tools (e.g., Zoho, Salesforce, Tally). Strong analytical skills--capable of interpreting reports, detecting risk, and making independent recommendations. Excellent stakeholder management; able to coordinate across teams and communicate effectively with partners and vendors. High degree of ownership, follow-through, and ethical standards. Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, Finance, or Business Administration. Fluency in Hindi and English (verbal and written).

Preferred



Experience scaling up operations and/or leading automation or outsourcing projects. Previous exposure to digital KYC, credit bureau integrations, and reconciliation software. Prior team management experience is an advantage.
