Accounts Executive - Payables & Cash Management

Job Summary:

The Accounts Executive - Payables & Cash Management will be responsible for handling vendor payments, monitoring daily cash and bank positions, and supporting treasury operations. The role involves close coordination with internal teams, banks, vendors, and external partners to ensure smooth and compliant financial transactions within the shipping and logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor daily bank balances and cash positions to ensure liquidity and accuracy.

Assist in preparing daily and weekly cash flow reports.

Coordinate with banks for fund transfers, forex settlements, and related documentation.

Support treasury operations including bank mandate updates, KYC compliance, and correspondence.

Process vendor invoices with proper documentation, approval, and expense coding.

Execute payment runs (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly) as per company schedules.

Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any payment discrepancies.

Coordinate with internal departments for timely invoice approvals and clarifications.

Maintain accurate financial records and data entries in ERP/accounting systems.

Prepare supporting documents for internal and external audits.

Assist with month-end closing activities related to payables and cash reconciliations.

Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting standards, and company financial policies.

1 Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting (B.Com / BBA / M.Com preferred).

2 2-4 years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable or Cash Management.

3 Strong attention to detail with analytical and problem-solving skills.

4 Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP accounting software.

5 Experience in the Shipping, Logistics, or Freight Forwarding industry preferred.

6 Understanding of multi-currency payments and international banking processes.

7 Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹650,000.00 per year
