About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Accountant with a strong command of Excel and logical reasoning skills. The ideal candidate should have a reasonable understanding of financial management, preferably in e-commerce. You will be responsible for overseeing financial processes related to various e-commerce platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis & Reporting:

Deploy Excel skills to track, analyze and report financial data, ensuring all figures are accurate and compliant

Financial Management:

Oversee and manage financial transactions related to sales and refunds on e-commerce platforms

Amount Transfers:

Handle transfers of amounts between original payments and replacements, ensuring accuracy in the reconciliation of accounts

Reconciliation:

Ensure the correct processing of payments, refunds, and adjustments on the platform

Problem-Solving:

Address discrepancies or issues related to transactions, working with both the e-commerce platform and internal teams to resolve them

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Commerce (BCom) or a related field

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (functions such as VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.) Strong logical reasoning and problem-solving abilities

Attention to Detail:

High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing financial records

Communication Skills:

Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners

Adaptability:

Ability to handle dynamic financial data, including changes in payment structures, refunds, and replacements

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of e-commerce platforms is a plus Familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems is advantageous

Pay: ₹280,000.00 - ₹360,000.00 per year
