JOB OVERVIEW
Sapaad is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented
Finance Associate
to support our Accounts and Administration department by handling day-to-day accounting and administrative tasks. You will work closely with a team of professionals to ensure accuracy, transparency, and efficiency in managing the company's financial records and administrative operations.
The ideal candidate is well-versed in accounting principles, demonstrates strong numerical and analytical skills, and is capable of managing diverse administrative responsibilities. Our goal is to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the department and keep the company up to date with all accounting and administrative matters.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Accounting Responsibilities:
Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are accurately recorded in the accounting system.
Document and file financial transactions after posting to the accounting system.
Perform bank reconciliations on a weekly and monthly basis.
Record daily sales transactions.
Generate and send e-invoices to customers.
Prepare and maintain schedules for advances, prepayments, and accruals.
Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations with suppliers' Statements of Accounts (SoAs).
Review expenses, payroll records, and accrued expenses.
Prepare monthly closing adjustments.
Manage invoicing for related-party companies.
Review financial data and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
Prepare cash flow statements on a regular basis (bi-monthly or monthly).
Assist in preparing the company's budget and business plan, and present variance analysis reports.
Monitor the company's financial status and performance to identify areas for improvement.
Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual filings of Income Tax, TDS, and GST returns.
Assist in fulfilling requirements for SEZ, ROC, and other regulatory authorities.
Coordinate with external auditors, regulatory assessment teams, and accounting/tax consultants.
Administrative Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to all departments, including arranging stationery, office supplies, hotel bookings, and transportation.
Manage health insurance documentation and renewals.
Supervise housekeeping activities and ensure office upkeep.
Perform other administrative duties as required.
Assist and deputize for the Finance Manager in daily operations.
YOU'RE A STRONG FIT IF YOU HAVE
