About The Role:
The Finance Associate will be responsible for processing and managing payroll, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with budget preparation and financial reporting. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software. The ideal candidate will have a background in finance or accounting, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
The Associate (Finance) will report to the Manager (Finance) and will assume the following key responsibilities:
Assist in accurately entering financial transactions into the accounting system.
Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records, both physical and electronic.
Collaborate with other departments to process invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper authorization.
Verify and match invoices with supporting documents and purchase orders.
Assist in reconciling bank statements to ensure the accuracy of transactions.
Identify discrepancies and follow up on outstanding items.
Assist in preparing basic financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements.
Provide support during audits by gathering necessary documentation and information.
Monitor and track employee expenses and reimbursements.
Provide general administrative support to the finance department.
Help with filing, scanning, and maintaining organized financial records.
Any other duties as directed by the Finance Manager.
Experience and Qualifications
B.Com. or Equivalent (minimum)
Relevant experience of Fresher with Tally knowledge.
Experience working with non-profit organizations (desired not necessary)
Desired Skills
Excellent working knowledge of Tally ERP9 / Prime
Basic understanding of accounting principles and concepts.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other basic office software.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
