We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Assistant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will support daily financial operations, assist with bookkeeping, and contribute to maintaining accurate financial records. Responsibilities
Assist with processing invoices, receipts, and expense claims in accordance with company policies
Support the preparation of financial reports and statements
Maintain accurate and organised financial records and filing systems
Reconcile accounts and bank statements regularly to ensure data accuracy
Assist with payroll processing and related administrative tasks
Support the finance team during audits and internal reviews
Respond to routine financial queries from internal departments and external vendors
Contribute to improving financial procedures and workflows where applicable
Skills
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Good numerical ability and proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial procedures
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Prior experience with accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks) is desirable but not essential
A recognised qualification in finance, accounting, or related field is advantageous
