Prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts for production, operations, and capital expenditure.
Monitor financial performance by tracking actual results vs. budgeted numbers.
Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights to management.
2. Costing & Production Finance
Oversee product costing, BOM validation, and cost optimization for manufacturing processes.
Analyze material consumption, wastage, and production efficiency to improve margins.
Work closely with the operations team to evaluate plant performance and process improvements.
3. Receivables & Payables Management
Follow up on receivables to ensure timely customer payments.
Monitor and manage vendor payments and overall cash flow.
Ensure effective credit control and maintain healthy working capital cycles.
4. Expense Management
Review and validate all operational and administrative expenses.
Implement cost-saving measures and ensure adherence to budgets.
Track and approve purchase requests and inventory-related costs.
5. Financial Reporting
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Present MIS reports, dashboards, and financial insights to management for strategic decisions.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for audits and compliance.
6. Funding & Banking
Apply for funding, working capital limits, or term loans as required.
Apply for subsidies for existing plan and future plant
Liaise with banks, financial institutions, and auditors.
Manage loan documentation, renewals, and compliance submissions.
7. Additional Industry-Relevant Responsibilities
Monitor scrap rates, melting costs, power consumption, and machine utilization.
Evaluate feasibility for new production lines or capex proposals.
Support management in tender pricing, quotations, and cost-benefit analysis.
Ensure financial risk management in procurement of raw materials like billets, scrap, alloys, etc.
