Finance Analyst (Rewards & Real Estate)Finance Analyst 1Role Summary-An exciting opportunity exists to join Flutter\xe2\x80\x99s GL Accounting Services Team in our new Shared Capability Centre in Hyderabad.We are seeking to hire a number of talented Financial Accountants to join our team. The ideal candidates will have experience working in a SCC function for a major multinational company.This important role is a key contact for the Group\xe2\x80\x99s overseas offices playing a critical role in the month end close and also the delivery of financial information across the group. The role will also play a major part in ensuring that all intercompany charges and balances are recorded in line with the Group\xe2\x80\x99s transfer pricing policy and various other management agreements.The role will also support the implementation of all reporting process improvements to deliver enhanced financial information to internal and external stakeholders, which evolves with business needs and consistently exceeds expectations.Strong analytical focus and reporting experience are essential for this role. In addition, candidates should be able to demonstrate commercial acumen and solid experience of building and maintaining strong and productive working relationships with a broad range of demanding business customers and across the wider finance community.Key Responsibilities-\xe2\x97\x8fSupport all Group management reporting processes including the monthly management accounts close and intercompany process\xe2\x97\x8fPreparation of intercompany reporting and improvement of processes around intercompany\xe2\x97\x8fProduction & delivery of monthly reports for the Board, ExCo and CFO\xe2\x97\x8fContinuous development of reports to meet senior management requirements\xe2\x97\x8fContinuously improve the monthly close process and related outputs, working with different finance teams\xe2\x97\x8fPreparation of annual statutory accounts for Flutter plc and its subsidiaries to tight deadlines in accordance with IFRS and FRS 101\xe2\x97\x8fWork with tax ensure completeness of transfer pricing and cross charges across each of the Group entities\xe2\x97\x8fProduction of Annual and Interim published financial reports in accordance with IFRS in association with other key finance personnel, meeting demanding Stock Exchange and Combined Code requirements\xe2\x97\x8fLiaise with subsidiary finance teams in relation to month end reporting and various other tasks\xe2\x97\x8fDevelopment and maintenance of the Group General Ledger and the Group Chart of Accounts to ensure that they continually evolve to meet business needs\xe2\x97\x8fResearch and conclude on technical accounting issues which impact the GroupSkills & Experience-\xe2\x97\x8fQualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with experience gained in industry or practice\xe2\x97\x8fStrong academic record with degree in Finance, Business, or related field\xe2\x97\x8f4+ years working in a similar environment with a proven track record in financial reporting, and exposure to intercompany and statutory reporting processes\xe2\x97\x8fStrong understanding of accounting principles and reporting frameworks\xe2\x97\x8fKnowledge of ERP systems and Finance-related technologies (Oracle and Workiva would be advantageous)\xe2\x97\x8fExcellent MS Office skills, particularly Excel\xe2\x97\x8fExperience in a SCC function for a major multinational company and / or sports betting industry would be a distinct advantage\xe2\x97\x8fStrong stakeholder relationship management skills and adept at working across timezones and cultures in a SCCBehavioural Competencies-\xe2\x97\x8fCollaborates - Excellent team player, hard working, adaptable, proactive and operates effectively in a fast paced environment\xe2\x97\x8fCommunicates - Strong communicator who can deal effectively with people from a non-finance background\xe2\x97\x8fResilient - Adept at dealing with high volumes of data and comfortable in a highly automated environment\xe2\x97\x8fDrives Results - Well organised and thorough, with close attention to detail and a drive for continuous improvement\xe2\x97\x8fStakeholder Management - Strong stakeholder relationship management skills and adept at working across timezones and cultures in a SCC
