Finance Analyst CA

Purpose of Position: To prepare monthly financial statements and analyze financial performance of business segments and consolidate and present the financial performance on a monthly basis.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

- Supervise monthly accounts closure activities - AR / AP, fixed assets, GL, banks & supplier account reconciliations and accruals and ensure SLA\'s are met.

- To study and develop various investment proposals that may arise from time to time.

- Plan and manage the work of the accounts department so that the resources are effectively utilized and established timescales, procedures and standards met.

- Smooth migration of finance & accounting functions of various branches & subsidiaries to Shared Services office.

- Establish and implement procedures and standards for financial reporting so that all company financial transactions are accurately and promptly recorded.

- Oversee and review Balance Sheet schedules - Inventory, Fixed Assets, Accrued income and expenses, Other Receivables etc.

- Facilitate and overview preparation of audit schedules and coordinate with the local accounts team of the subsidiaries for timely completion of audit

- Prepare of monthly MIS and financial analysis reports for all business divisions and also develop reports from ERP for efficient automated reporting and reduction in manual process and prepare adhoc reports for management purposes like Group FS for Board presentation and other MIS reports.

- Follow-up with all subsidiaries and several cross functional teams for ensuring adherence to timely, smooth and error free completion of management reporting

- Support the Annual Budgeting exercise and conduct variance analysis, cost analysis and provide meaningful trends and opportunities for savings on a periodic basis

- Analyze cost of sales and overheads for each subsidiary and segment and provide meaningful trends and opportunities for savings.

- Co-operation within the team and acting as an effective team player

- Train staff and keep them motivated

- Any other assignment that may come from time to time
