Job Description

Manage, analyze, evaluate operating results and drive manufacturing productivity. Ensure monthly closure of books within the timelines set. Provide leadership to ensure adequate accounting processes are in place. The incumbent will be responsible for assisting the Finance Controller in managing Plant accounting, Statutory Compliance, closing of books, balance sheet recs etc. Sound working knowledge of GAAP, Sarbanes Oxley and local statutory requirements. Ensure monthly closure of books within the timelines set. Ownership of account reconciliation process to maintain integrity of general ledger and its supporting sub-systems. Assess adequacy of reserves and overall financial reporting. Manage, analyze, evaluate operating results and drive manufacturing productivity. Inform management of results and recommend corrective actions to address unfavorable variances. Lead ad hoc projects as required including appropriate ERP implementations and system upgrades. Superior analytical and thinking skills; Intellectual rigor and curiosity; problem-solving capability. Review and develop monthly checklist for SEZ compliance. Ensure completeness of all compliance accurately and timely. Review the applicability of GST and ensure timely submission of returns. Develop proper system to calculate and record cost optimization data. Develop a system to report all exceptional transactions to Business Head and Finance Controller on periodic basis. Assist in development of strategic and annual profit plan. Ensure functional activities related to process improvements and standard work. Support and drive working with Plant team to achieve the forecast results for Margin. Understanding of Plant and global business issues, including foreign currency impact and local customs and duty requirements. Monthly Plant expense forecasting & daily monitoring actual expenses. Prepare commentary for variation from forecast & yearly budget (Profit Plan) Basic Knowledge of production process & Product costing. Sound Knowledge of Good ERP system like SAP / MFG PRO / Oracle R12 Knowledge of Purchase to Pay & Order to Cash process. Knowledge & understanding of Corp, region/division and plant reporting policies. Experience of handling MNC or large organization reporting requirements. Experience of handling Internal Audit & Internal Control. Fixed assets accounting & Fixed assets verification as per US & India GAAP. Experience of handling Import & Export compliance (EDPMS & IDPMS) Provide leadership to ensure adequate accounting processes are in place. Administer all foreign currency hedges for the business & forecast cash requirements. Provide require input to corporate team for Tax Audit, GST Audit & Transfer pricing Audit. MBA Finance, M. Com, ICWA Inter with minimum 7-8 Years of post-qualification experience Minimum of 5 years of experience with Manufacturing Organizations Accounting, GAAP, ERP (MFGPRO, SAP, Oracle)
