Job Description

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com/BBA in Finance).

Postgraduate degree (M.Com/MBA in Finance) or certification (CA Inter, CMA) is preferred

. Solid understanding of Indian taxation laws (GST, TDS, Income Tax) and accounting standards.

Experience:

5+ years of relevant experience in finance and accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role

. Experience in

statutory compliance, bank operations, vendor coordination, and internal audits

. Proficiency in

accounting software/ERPs

such as Tally ERP, SAP is desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all statutory tax payments including

GST, TDS, and Income Tax

, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Oversee

banking operations

, including fund transfers, cheque management, and cash handling. Monitor and reconcile

petty cash

and operational expenses. Prepare and finalize

quarterly and annual balance sheets

in compliance with accounting standards. Coordinate with

vendors and manufacturers

for contractual and financial matters. Liaise with

internal stakeholders

to resolve accounting discrepancies and maintain accurate records. Generate and issue

invoices

for customer purchases. Prepare and file

monthly GST returns

and

GST E-Way Bills

. Conduct

internal audits

to review the accuracy of accounting records and processes. Assist in the

finalization and filing of Income Tax Returns (ITR)

. Maintain and reconcile

Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS)

. Prepare and submit

monthly compliance and financial reports

. Prepare

TDS statements

and file

quarterly TDS returns

. Complete

vendor registration formalities

and ensure timely vendor payments. Process

monthly employee reimbursements

and

project expense bills

. Maintain daily reports on

Sundry Debtors and Creditors

, and

sales and purchase transactions

. Ensure accurate maintenance of

cash vouchers

and

petty cash records

.
