To lead the finance and accounts department by overseeing financial planning, budgeting, reporting, compliance, and internal control systems to ensure the financial health and statutory compliance of the organization.
Develop and implement long-term financial strategies aligned with the company's goals.
Prepare forecasts, budgets, and financial models to support decision-making.
2. Accounting & Financial Reporting
Supervise day-to-day accounting operations (AR/AP, GL, bank reconciliations, etc.).
Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings.
Prepare and present financial statements as per statutory requirements (e.g., Indian GAAP/IFRS).
3. Budgeting & Cost Control
Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost control measures.
4. Taxation & Compliance
Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory returns.
Liaison with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
5. Audit & Internal Controls
Coordinate with internal and external auditors for periodic audits.
Establish and monitor robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
6. Team Management
Lead, guide, and mentor the finance and accounts team.
Set KPIs and conduct performance reviews.
7. Banking & Treasury
Manage banking operations, including cash flow, fund management, and loan negotiations.
Maintain relationships with financial institutions.
8. MIS & Analysis
Provide accurate MIS reports to management for strategic planning.
Conduct financial analysis to highlight variances and recommend improvements.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, SAP, ERP, etc.).
Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Decision-making and strategic thinking.
Qualification & Experience:
CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.
Minimum
8-12 years
of relevant experience, with at least
3-5 years
in a leadership role.
