Maintain books of accounts and record day-to-day financial transactions
Prepare and post journal entries, vouchers, and ledger accounts
Handle accounts payable and receivable functions
Reconcile bank statements and vendor/customer accounts
Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing
Prepare invoices, follow up on outstanding payments, and manage billing
Support statutory compliance such as GST, TDS, VAT, or other local tax filings
Assist in audit preparation and respond to auditor queries
Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records
Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders as needed
Key skills:
Experience with tax compliance and statutory filings
Knowledge of payroll processing
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Focus ERP or similar)
1-2 years of experience is enough
