is responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, supporting budgeting processes, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. This role plays a key part in supporting the finance department's goals and ensuring the company's financial health.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries.
Handle accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing and vendor reconciliation.
Prepare and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
Assist with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial statements.
Ensure timely and accurate tax filings (GST, TDS, income tax, etc.) and compliance with local financial regulations.
Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flows.
Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors during audits.
Maintain proper documentation of financial transactions and records.
Support month-end and year-end close processes.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the finance manager or senior accountant.
Requirements:
Any Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
Freshers / 1-3 years of experience in a similar finance or accounts role (Freshers with strong accounting knowledge may also be considered).
