Key Responsibilities:
Maintain day-to-day accounts and ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
Handle accounts payable and receivable, including timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections.
Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow on a regular basis.
Prepare and file GST, TDS, and other statutory returns in compliance with government regulations.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors for audits and compliance checks.
Maintain and update general ledger and subsidiary ledgers.
Monitor outstanding freight invoices and follow up for payments with clients.
Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
Manage documentation for import/export transactions in coordination with the operations team.
