Job Description

We are looking for a

Final Quality Inspector

to check and approve the quality of finished castings before dispatch. The role requires experience in visual inspection, dimensional checking, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Perform

visual inspection

of CI and SG castings for surface defects, cracks, blow holes, etc. Conduct

dimensional inspection

using tools like Vernier, micrometer, and gauges Check castings as per

drawing specifications and quality standards

Prepare

final inspection reports

and mark OK / Not OK status Ensure that only

approved parts

go for dispatch or machining Report non-conformities and assist in

rejection analysis

Work closely with production and quality team to resolve issues Maintain inspection tools and follow safety and 5S practices Help during

customer audits

and third-party inspections

Qualifications & Skills

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (or relevant field) 2-5 years of experience in quality inspection (foundry preferred) Good understanding of

castings and machining drawings

Able to use measuring instruments accurately Basic documentation and report writing skills Knowledge of

NDT / hardness testing

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹21,000.00 per month
