Job Description

We are looking for a

Filament Winding Technician

to operate and maintain filament winding machines for the production of high-quality composite components. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in composite manufacturing, machine operation, and quality inspection.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate filament winding machines as per work instructions and drawings Load mandrels, fibers, and resin systems correctly Monitor winding angles, fiber tension, and resin application Perform in-process and final inspection of composite parts Identify defects and report quality or machine issues Perform routine machine cleaning and basic maintenance Maintain production and quality records Follow all safety procedures and use required PPE Meet daily production targets and quality standards

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent 3 years of experience in filament winding or composite manufacturing Ability to read drawings, work instructions, and SOPs Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills Knowledge of composite materials (carbon fiber, glass fiber, resin systems) preferred Willingness to work shifts and overtime if required
