Job Description

The Field Technician is responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment at client or project sites. The role requires technical knowledge, hands-on experience, and the ability to manage on-site tasks efficiently while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform installation, testing, and commissioning of equipment/machinery at client sites. Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to ensure smooth operation of machines. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic issues on-site. Record service reports and submit documentation to the supervisor. Ensure adherence to company safety policies and site safety procedures. Communicate with the service team and clients regarding technical issues and solutions. Provide on-site training and technical support to operators, if required. Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicle in good working condition. Escalate major issues to higher technical teams promptly.

Requirements:

ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or related field. 2-5 years of experience in field service, maintenance, or equipment installation (industry-specific preferred). Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Willingness to travel frequently and work in outdoor or site environments. Ability to work independently and under pressure.

Preferred:

Experience in RMC / Construction / Industrial Equipment industry (if applicable). Knowledge of preventive maintenance schedules and reporting tools.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
