Location:

Anand, Gujarat

A Solar Technician is responsible for the installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems and solar-powered equipment. The role ensures safe, efficient, and reliable performance of solar systems, supporting the organization's clean-energy and sustainability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, test, and commission solar PV systems including panels, inverters, batteries, and wiring Conduct site inspections and assess technical requirements Perform routine maintenance and preventive servicing of solar systems Identify, diagnose, and resolve electrical and system-related faults Replace or repair faulty components such as solar panels, inverters, charge controllers, and batteries Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and quality guidelines Maintain installation and service documentation and reports Provide basic operational guidance and training to end users Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and vendors for technical support Travel to nearby field locations in and around Anand district as required

Required Skills & Qualifications:

ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Renewable Energy, or Solar Technology Basic knowledge of solar PV systems and electrical wiring Ability to understand wiring diagrams and technical manuals Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Willingness to work in field and rural conditions

Preferred Experience:

Experience in rooftop solar systems, off-grid solar installations, solar pumps, or solar livelihood machines
