Job Summary
We are seeking an ITI-qualified Field Technical Support Technician with a background in mechanical Engineering or computer hardware. The role involves on-site installation, configuration, routine maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of systems at customer locations. The technician will work closely with internal support teams to ensure timely issue resolution and service quality. This position is suitable for freshers who are willing to learn, travel, and build hands-on technical expertise through field-based assignments.
Key Responsibilities:
System Installation and Setup:
Perform on-site installation, configuration, and setup of systems and equipment at customer locations, ensuring they are installed as per specifications and function correctly.
Basic Hardware Troubleshooting and Support:
Identify and troubleshoot basic hardware-related issues, perform initial diagnostics, and provide first-level technical support to ensure minimal downtime.
Maintenance and Service Support:
Assist in routine maintenance, preventive checks, and servicing activities to ensure optimal performance and longevity of systems and equipment.Work closely with internal technical, support, and service teams to escalate complex issues, share updates, and ensure timely resolution of customer-reported problems.Conduct regular field visits as required, maintain accurate service records, document installations, issues, actions taken, and submit reports as per defined processes.Requirements:

Educational Qualification:
ITI certification in Mechanical, Computer Hardware, or a related trade, providing a basic technical foundation relevant to the role.
Technical Knowledge:
Basic understanding of computer hardware components, mechanical systems, and their functioning. Ability to perform simple diagnostics and support tasks (training will be provided where required).Willingness and flexibility to travel to customer sites for field assignments, installations, service, and support activities as per business requirements.0-2 years of experience in a similar field of support or technical role. Freshers with a strong interest in learning, hands-on work, and field exposure are encouraged to apply.Ability to follow instructions, work under guidance, maintain service documentation, and collaborate effectively with internal teams.
