Position Overview
We are hiring a
Field Support Manager
to lead
field service operations and vehicle inspections
for Electric Vehicles. The role focuses on
field issue identification, customer complaint resolution, service network support, and continuous improvement
, ensuring high customer satisfaction across
RE & OE markets
for
EVs
.
Key Responsibilities
Field Support & Vehicle Inspection
Lead
field vehicle inspections
, diagnostics, and root cause analysis of issues reported from the field.
Identify recurring failures and provide structured feedback to
R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing
teams.
Ensure timely closure of field issues with corrective and preventive actions.
Customer Service & Complaint Management
Handle
escalated customer complaints
and ensure quality and timely resolution.
Act as a liaison between
customers, service teams, and internal stakeholders
for product-related issues.
Drive continuous improvement in customer experience and service turnaround time.
Service Network & Aftermarket Operations
Support
service network expansion
, audits, and capability building.
Coordinate with Supply Chain and Stores for timely availability of spares and service support.
Process Improvement & Operations Excellence
Identify and drive
process improvements
to enhance service efficiency, productivity, and resource utilization.
Define and track service KPIs, reports, and field performance metrics.
Training & Documentation
Create and deploy
technical training content, service manuals, and customer-centric documentation
.
Support sales and service marketing literature related to aftersales and service support.
Team Management
Recruit, train, coach, and manage
field support and customer service teams
.
Monitor performance, conduct reviews, and build a customer-first service culture.
Qualifications
Diploma / BE in Mechanical, Electrical, Automobile, or related discipline.
3-5 years of experience in
field service, aftersales, or customer support
in automotive or EV industry.
Strong knowledge of EV systems (Battery, BMS, Motor, Motor Controller, Charger).
Experience in complaint management, field diagnostics, and service operations.
Good communication, leadership, and cross-functional coordination skills.
