Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing on-site support and maintenance for our clients' equipment in various manufacturing facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial mechanics, with experience in high voltage systems and familiarity with logic controllers. This position requires excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment at client sites. Utilize diagnostic tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical issues. Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance. Document service activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide effective solutions. Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and regulations. Provide training and support to clients on equipment operation and maintenance.

Experience

Proven experience in a field service role, preferably within a manufacturing facility. Strong understanding of electrical systems, including high voltage applications. Familiarity with logic controllers and their programming is highly desirable. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. A background in military service is a plus but not required. Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
