Job Description

As a Field Service Engineer at Luminous Power Technologies, you act as the primary technical point of contact for customers using power backup and solar energy solutions. Your role is a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving, and relationship management.

1. Role Overview

The Field Service Engineer is responsible for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of Luminous products, which include Inverters (UPS), Batteries, and Solar Power Systems (On-grid/Off-grid). You ensure that these systems operate at peak efficiency while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

2. Key Responsibilities

Installation & Commissioning: Supervise and perform the setup of new power systems at residential, commercial, or industrial sites.
Preventive Maintenance: Conduct scheduled routine checks on batteries and inverters to prevent failures and extend equipment life.
Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose complex electrical and electronic faults on-site. Perform component-level repairs or coordinate part replacements.
Solar System Optimization: For solar installations, monitor energy output, clean/inspect panels, and ensure the PCU (Power Conditioning Unit) is configured correctly.
Technical Support: Provide guidance to junior technicians and offer remote or on-site training to customers on how to operate their systems.
Documentation: Maintain accurate service reports, log spare parts usage, and update customer history in the company's CRM or service app.
3. Required Skills & Qualifications

| Education | Diploma or B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering. |

| Technical Knowledge | Proficiency in power electronics, circuit diagrams, battery chemistry, and solar PV technology. |

| Soft Skills | Strong communication, patience with customers, and the ability to explain technical issues in simple terms. |

| Physical/Logistics | Willingness to travel to various sites (often requires a valid driving license and a two-wheeler). |

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
