: Field Service Engineer, Pune

Key Responsibilities:




Execute service and maintenance activities as per plan for PLC and automation-based systems Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in PLC (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, etc.) and associated control systems Handle customer complaints (Warranty/Goodwill/Others) and ensure proper logging into the SQR database Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting Ensure timely response and resolution of breakdowns to meet agreed SLA/response times Deliver customer training on PLC-based equipment and best maintenance practices Support the service sales team for AMC renewals, spares forecasting, and service offerings Guide and support service technicians to ensure quality workmanship Manage key customer accounts and ensure long-term service satisfaction Coordinate with project and installation teams for new equipment commissioning Follow safety, health, and environmental (SHE) guidelines at all job sites Identify recurring faults, perform root cause analysis, and drive preventive measures Maintain documentation of service reports, feedback, and recommendations Stay updated on latest PLC tools, diagnostic software, and automation technologies




To Succeed You Will Need:




Solid hands-on experience in servicing and maintaining PLC and automation systems Proficiency in troubleshooting Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, or similar PLC platforms Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in automation diagnostics Good understanding of electrical schematics, control panels, and HMI interfaces Excellent customer handling and communication skills Ability to work independently and manage customer expectations effectively Familiarity with service documentation on digital platform A proactive approach to learning and adapting to new technologies Willingness to travel within the West Region for on-site support
