Job Summary:
The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial machinery at customer sites. The ideal candidate should have a passion for machines, strong technical aptitude, and the ability to deliver an excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
? Carry out installation and commissioning of machines at customer sites as per company standards.
? Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of machines to ensure minimal downtime.
? Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, or control-related issues in machines.
? Conduct pre-installation site inspections and report readiness for installation.
? Maintain accurate service reports, installation checklists, and feedback forms.
? Provide technical guidance and basic operational training to customers.
? Coordinate with the service office for spare parts and technical documentation.
? Ensure timely communication and professional conduct with customers.
? Support the sales and application team in machine demonstrations or trials.
Qualifications & Skills:
? B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics / Electronics Engineering.
? 0-3 years of experience in industrial machinery service (freshers with strong aptitude may also apply).
? Basic understanding of electro-mechanical systems, hydraulics, and CNC controls preferred.
? Ability to read technical drawings and manuals.
? Good communication skills in English and Malayalam (Tamil/Kannada is an added advantage).
? Willingness to travel extensively and work independently at customer sites.
? Proficiency in MS Office and basic reporting tools.
