Xerox multifunction printers (MFPs), copiers, and document solutions
. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with office automation equipment, excellent problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and commission
Xerox copiers, MFPs, and digital printing machines
at client sites.
Perform preventive maintenance, routine servicing, and repair of Xerox and compatible machines.
Diagnose hardware, software, and network issues related to printers/scanners/copiers.
Manage firmware updates, connectivity setups (USB, LAN, Wi-Fi), and print driver installations.
Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers and ensure quick turnaround time.
Maintain detailed service reports and update job completion records in the CRM or service management system.
Coordinate with the sales and logistics team for machine deliveries, installations, and consumable replacements.
Ensure high customer satisfaction by delivering timely and quality service.
Identify recurring issues and suggest improvements to enhance machine performance and reliability.
Maintain stock of spare parts, toners, and consumables assigned for field service.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Education:
Diploma / ITI / B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, or Computer Engineering.
Experience:
1-3 years of experience servicing
Xerox, Canon, Kyocera, Ricoh, or similar MFP brands
(freshers with strong technical aptitude may be considered).
Technical Skills:
Knowledge of copier mechanics, scanning units, and image processing systems.
Understanding of printer networking and driver installations (TCP/IP, SMB, print queues).
Ability to interpret service manuals, circuit diagrams, and fault codes.
Soft Skills:
Strong communication, customer handling, and time management skills.
Tools:
Familiar with service diagnostic tools and Xerox Service Software (if applicable).
License:
A two-wheeler driving license preferred for field visits.
