Job Purpose

: To support Services Department in providing a high quality filed service to our customers at site in 24 x 7 environment. The Services Department is the interface between external customers, internal departments such as stores, sales, commercial, procurement, finance, etc. and the Field Service Engineers. The Services team requires the ability to deal effectively with all customers and to be able to manage customers' expectations appropriately and with the objective of achieving required levels of satisfaction and recommendation from customers.

Key Responsibilities:



Adhere to company health & safety policies, fostering a safe work environment. Plan and execute corrective, predictive, and preventive maintenance for security equipment, particularly baggage scanners, in a rotational 24/7 setup. Evaluate and approve spare requisitions promptly and track parts requisitioned. Collaborate with customers, Service Administrators, and Field Service Technicians (FSTs) for seamless operations. Develop team capabilities, delegate tasks, and support multi-tasking for operational efficiency. Organize site inspections, install new equipment, train operators, and maintain site inventory. Analyze FST performance (e.g., complaints resolved, average resolution time, repeat issues) and take corrective actions. Conduct hands-on troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for recurring issues, sharing insights with the manager. Deliver high-level technical support at customer locations, ensuring satisfaction.

Compliance & Reporting

: Monitor SMS dashboards and ensure timely timesheet closures. Track and manage RMA parts. Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring effective communication and promptly sharing their requirements and feedback with management. Maintain and share daily, weekly, and project-specific reports. Train FSTs on products and assist in technical upskilling. Support project implementation as required. Analyze maintenance logs, review KPIs with service partners, and share insights with the RSM. Manage site spares, oversee defect returns, and ensure quality compliance for inward materials. Maintain service records, preventive maintenance logs, and share reports with Service Administrators.

Qualifications

Job requirements



+ Graduation/3-year diploma in Electronics or Electrical Engineering. + 4-5 years in field service engineering or a similar role.
+ Experience in troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing CTX9800, X-ray and trace detection equipment
+ Strong analytical, electronics, electrical, and IT skills.
+ Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
+ Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
+ Technical expertise, empathy, optimism, and adaptability to business needs.
+ Willingness to travel on short notice and work in a dynamic, evolving environment.


Should be good team player, flexible with duty roaster, outside job assignment, & collaborative and knowledge share with other colleague
