Role Summary
The Field Sales Executive is the face of E-Spectra Solar Power, responsible for actively driving sales of solar solutions through direct customer engagement. This is a highly performance-driven, field-based role that requires excellent technical understanding, persuasive communication, and a strong commitment to closing deals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Engagement & Field Visits (Deal Generation)
Conduct daily, scheduled visits to prospective clients (residential societies, commercial building owners, small and medium enterprises) within the Gurugram, Delhi NCR, and Haryana region.
Generate new leads through cold calling, networking, local events, and referrals to build a robust sales pipeline.
Perform site inspections and initial assessments to understand the customer's specific energy needs and structural feasibility for solar installation.
2. Product Consultation & Deal Closure (The Closer)
Clearly and accurately explain the technical specifications, financial benefits, and long-term return on investment (ROI) of E-Spectra's solar power systems.
Customize proposals and provide accurate quotes based on customer requirements, site analysis, and current market pricing.
Manage the sales negotiation process, overcome objections, and achieve deal closure, meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets.
3. Documentation & Reporting
Ensure all necessary sales documents, site surveys, and contracts are accurately completed and submitted promptly.
Maintain meticulous records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status using the company's CRM system.
Provide regular, insightful feedback on market trends, competitive landscape, and customer demands to the Regional Sales Manager.
Qualifications and Skills
Experience:
1 to 3 years of proven experience in field sales, direct sales, or technical sales, preferably within the Solar, HVAC, Inverter, or related B2C/B2B technology sector.
Technical Aptitude:
Basic knowledge of solar PV systems, components (panels, inverters, batteries), and the ability to explain complex technical concepts simply.
Mobility:
Must possess own reliable transportation (two-wheeler or car) and a valid driving license, as the role is 100% field-based across the Delhi NCR region.
Communication:
Excellent verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in English and Hindi.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or Business Administration.
