Job Summary:



We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven

Life Science Chemical Sales Representative

to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for selling laboratory chemicals, reagents, and related products to clients in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, academic, and research sectors. Your scientific background and strong communication skills will enable you to effectively understand client needs, provide product solutions, and build long-term customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:



Sales & Business Development

Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within assigned territory or accounts. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the life sciences industry (e.g., researchers, lab managers, procurement teams). Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Product Knowledge & Support

Maintain a deep understanding of the company's portfolio of chemicals and reagents Provide customers with technical information, product recommendations, and usage guidance. Act as a liaison between customers and technical support/scientific teams when needed.

Account Management

Manage existing accounts by offering ongoing support, monitoring satisfaction, and identifying upselling opportunities. Prepare and deliver proposals, quotations, and contracts in collaboration with internal teams.

Market Intelligence

Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in life sciences and chemical research. Provide feedback to marketing and product development teams to guide strategy.

Qualifications:



Education:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or a related Life Science field. (Advanced degrees preferred but not required.)

Experience:

1+ years of experience in scientific sales, preferably in chemicals, reagents, or life science tools. Experience selling to pharmaceutical, biotech, academic, or CRO sectors is highly desirable.

Skills:

Strong scientific understanding of chemical products and their applications. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to travel within assigned territory (up to 50%).

Work Environment:



Regular customer visits, trade shows, and industry conferences.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
