, with strong communication and customer relationship skills. The role involves extensive fieldwork, focusing on retailer engagement, order generation, and ensuring consistent product visibility across the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities:
Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets assigned by the Sales Officer or Area Sales Manager.
Visit retailers and distributors regularly to ensure continuous product availability and visibility.
Generate new sales leads and expand the customer base within the assigned area.
Ensure timely collection of orders and follow up on payments as per company policies.
Execute in-store branding, product displays, and promotional activities effectively.
Collect market feedback on competitor products, pricing, and offers.
Maintain accurate records of daily calls, sales performance, and customer interactions.
Support distributors in inventory management and ensure proper stock rotation.
Represent the company professionally and maintain excellent relationships with trade partners.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree or higher secondary qualification (Graduation preferred).
2-4 years of experience
in field sales, preferably in
FMCG or tea/beverage segment
.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach.
Good understanding of retail trade, product merchandising, and sales execution.
Target-oriented and self-motivated, capable of working independently in the field.
Basic computer knowledge for reporting and communication.
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
