The Sales Executive - General Trade will be responsible for achieving sales targets, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and acquiring new customers in the General Trade segment. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, a thorough understanding of the market, and the ability to drive sales through effective strategies and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Achievement:
? Meet and exceed sales targets and objectives set by the management.
? Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive sales growth in the assigned area.
Customer Relationship Management:
? Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with retailers and distributors
? Address and resolve customer complaints and issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
Market Analysis and Planning:
? Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
? Analyse market trends, competitors, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for sales.
Sales Operations:
? Plan and execute sales visits to potential and existing customers as per the scheduled route plan.
? Ensure proper merchandising and visibility of products in the outlets.
? Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the supply chain to ensure timely product delivery.
Reporting and Documentation:
? Prepare and submit accurate and timely sales reports, expense reports, and other required documentation.
? Maintain records of customer interactions, sales activities, and follow-ups in the CRM system.
Promotional Activities:
? Participate in promotional activities, trade shows, and events to promote products and increase brand visibility.
? Execute trade promotions and campaigns to drive sales and enhance market presence.
