Role Overview
As a
Field Business Manager - IT Sales
, you will represent UPVyapar directly in the marketplace across Kanpur. Your core responsibilities include
on-ground lead generation, business visits, demo presentations, and closing sales
. You will act as a trusted advisor to SMB owners, understand their business needs, and help them adopt our digital services.
This role demands strong field activity, relationship building, and sales execution to accelerate UPVyapar's presence and market penetration.
Key ResponsibilitiesField Lead Generation & Prospecting
Conduct field visits and meet business owners in markets, industrial areas, and commercial zones.
Generate new leads through door-to-door interaction, networking, referrals, and local events.
Maintain a structured daily visit plan and update the CRM with field activity records.
Sales Conversion & Revenue Growth
Deliver product presentations and demos (in-person or online).
Understand customer pain points and recommend suitable digital solutions.
Negotiate pricing and close sales to meet monthly revenue targets.
Relationship & Account Management
Build and maintain strong, long-term business relationships.
Ensure smooth onboarding and handover to project delivery teams.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients in assigned territories.
Market Feedback & Insights
Gather competitor trends and market requirements to support product improvements.
Actively participate in sales meetings and share field insights.
Reporting & Coordination
Submit daily and weekly sales performance reports.
Collaborate with marketing teams for field campaigns and promotional activities.
Eligibility & Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or IT preferred.
Experience:
Minimum 1 year in field sales, B2B selling, or business development.
Location:
Must reside in or be willing to travel extensively within Kanpur.
Communication Skills:
Strong Hindi & English communication and presentation ability.
Sales Skills:
Proven experience in lead generation and closing deals independently.
Tech Savvy:
Basic understanding of digital services, CRM tools, and MS Office.
Self-driven & Goal-oriented:
Must be able to manage targets and field tasks independently.
