Job Description

An automotive field sales officer is

responsible for generating sales, building and maintaining relationships with clients like retailers and workshops, and meeting sales targets.

Key duties include identifying new opportunities, managing customer needs, providing product information, handling orders, and resolving issues. The role requires strong sales, communication, and negotiation skills, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities

Customer and Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, such as auto parts retailers and workshops.

Sales and Target Achievement:

Drive sales and achieve or exceed sales targets by identifying and pursuing new opportunities.

Client Engagement:

Meet with customers to understand their needs, recommend suitable products, and guide them through the sales process.

Market Analysis:

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and gather information on pricing and new products to identify opportunities.

Order and Inventory Management:

Assist with placing orders, ensure timely delivery, and manage the distribution of spare parts.

Problem Resolution:

Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly to ensure high satisfaction levels.

Reporting:

Maintain records of sales activities and provide regular updates to management. Qualifications and skills

Experience:

Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in field sales, with a strong preference for experience in the automotive industry, particularly with spare parts or vehicle sales.

Skills:

Excellent sales, negotiation, and persuasion skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Customer-focused attitude and a knack for building relationships. Strong problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
