The Sales Officer (B2C) is responsible for acquiring new residential customers for broadband and internet services within an assigned area. The role involves field visits, lead generation, convincing customers, and achieving monthly sales targets to drive business growth in the B2C segment.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate leads and identify potential residential customers in assigned areas.
Conduct door-to-door visits, area mapping, and local promotions to create awareness of broadband services.
Present product features, plans, and benefits to prospective customers clearly and persuasively.
Close sales deals and achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
Coordinate with backend teams to ensure smooth installation and activation of services.
Maintain good relationships with customers to encourage referrals and repeat business.
Address basic customer queries and support the customer through the sales process.
Submit daily reports on visits, leads, conversions, and pipeline status.
Participate in promotional activities, local events, and roadshows to boost brand visibility.
Key Requirements:
Minimum qualification: 12th pass; Bachelor's degree preferred.
0-2 years of experience in field sales, preferably in telecom/broadband/DTH/FMCG. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Energetic, target-driven, and comfortable working in the field.
Local area knowledge and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
Basic computer knowledge for reporting.
Owning a two-wheeler and valid driving license is an advantage.
