Position Overview - Field Sales Manager:
The
Field Sales Manager
will drive business growth by acquiring new clients, building strong customer relationships, and promoting Maran Logistics services. The role involves meeting businesses directly, understanding their logistics needs, and offering tailored solutions across B2B shipments, D2C fulfilment, courier services, and international freight. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, solid sales experience, and the ability to convert leads into long-term partnerships.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).
2-5 years of experience in field sales, logistics sales, courier sales, or B2B sales.
Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
Good understanding of logistics operations, supply chain processes, and market trends.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing client accounts.
Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and travel extensively for fieldwork.
Proficiency in MS Office / CRM tools
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of handling pressure.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Identify and acquire new business clients for logistics, courier, B2B shipments, and D2C fulfilment services.
Conduct field visits, meetings, and presentations to understand customer needs and offer suitable logistics solutions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships.
Collaborate with operations, customer support, and delivery teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service execution.
Generate and manage leads through cold calling, field visits, referrals, and market research.
Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute to overall revenue growth.
Prepare sales reports, customer feedback updates, and market insights to support management decisions.
Resolve client concerns promptly and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Represent Maran Logistics professionally in the market to enhance brand visibility and trust.
