Field Sales Manager

Job Description

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. 3-5 years of field sales experience in FMCG, preferably in frozen or perishable foods. Strong understanding of retail operations and supermarket dynamics.

Key Responsibilities

:

1. Sales Target Achievement

:

Own and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

2. Field Execution

:

Ensure maximum product availability, visibility, and proper freezer placement in supermarkets. Execute in-store promotions and coordinate with merchandisers for effective brand presence. Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment to avoid stockouts.

3. Market Expansion

:

Identify and onboard new retail outlets and supermarket chains. Maintain and grow relationships with existing key accounts and retail buyers. Conduct product demos and in-store activations to increase sell-through.

4. Distributor & Team Coordination

:

Work closely with distributors for order fulfillment and market servicing. Coordinate with promoters, field executives, and merchandisers to support sales efforts. Train and guide store staff on product handling and storage standards.

5. Reporting & Analytics

:

Submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports with accurate data. Analyze sales trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to improve performance. Report challenges or market feedback to management in a timely manner. Track sales performance by outlet and take corrective actions to meet targets. Identify opportunities to improve volume, value, and market share.
