Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals in the building materials segment.
Identify and acquire new customers including builders, contractors, architects, and construction companies.
Manage and grow relationships with key accounts and channel partners (dealers/distributors).
Lead, train, and motivate the sales team to achieve performance targets.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing strategies, and customer preferences.
Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis for senior management.
Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to execute promotional campaigns and new product launches.
Ensure timely collections and manage credit control for customers.
Conduct regular field visits to monitor market dynamics and customer engagement.
Provide feedback on product performance and market needs to improve offerings.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree
Minimum 1-2 years of sales experience in
building materials
(e.g., cement, steel, tiles, paints, plumbing, sanitaryware, etc.).
Strong understanding of the construction industry, dealer/distributor networks, and project sales.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
