Job Overview

The Sales Executive for PM Surya Ghar Projects plays a pivotal role in expanding India's rooftop solar revolution. Under the Government of India's flagship scheme, you'll educate and enroll eligible households in subsidized solar installations (up to 3 kW systems with subsidies of ?78,000). This position combines sales acumen with technical knowledge to deliver environmental and economic benefits, such as reduced electricity bills and carbon footprint. Ideal for motivated individuals passionate about renewable energy and community outreach.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and engage potential customers through door-to-door visits, community events, and digital leads. Explain scheme benefits, including subsidies and free electricity, while assessing rooftop suitability. Prepare customized proposals, quotes, and contracts, ensuring compliance with scheme guidelines. Close sales by addressing objections and facilitating installations via empaneled vendors. Track sales metrics and report on targets to support national rollout goals.

Essential Requirements

Bachelor's degree in any field; sales or engineering background preferred. 1-2 years of sales experience, ideally in consumer products or renewables. Strong communication skills in local languages; basic solar tech knowledge. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹450,000.00 per year
