The sales officer is responsible for engaging with customers and dealers to drive sales for a leading steel company. The role involves lead generation, consumer education, and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders such as masons, contractors, and dealers.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Lead Generation:
Identify and generate new leads daily.
Follow up on existing leads to drive conversions.
Achieve assigned sales targets through field engagement.
Consumer Engagement & Relationship Building:
Educate consumers about the product features, benefits, and offers.
Build relationships with key influencers (masons, contractors, builders) to drive brand preference.
Distribute branded promotional materials to enhance brand visibility.
Market Intelligence & Reporting:
Gather insights on local market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
Provide feedback on consumer behaviour and sales performance.
Maintain and submit daily sales reports.
Key Requirements:
Education:
Graduate degree preferred.
Experience:
1-6 year in sales (preferred but not mandatory).
Skills:
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Fluency in the local language with basic proficiency in English.
Minimum 1 year experience in Business Development Executive roles.
Other Requirements:
Own a personal two-wheeler (with valid license) and mobile phone.
Awareness of the local territory and construction market dynamics.
Maximum age: 33 years
