We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Field Sales Executive to join our growing team. As a Field Sales Executive at FORWRD, you will be on the front lines, driving new customer acquisition and expanding our network of transporters based out of Pune. This role requires a "hunter" mentality, excellent communication skills, and a passion for disrupting the traditional logistics industry through technology. You will be responsible for showcasing the benefits of our digital platform and closing deals to onboard new partners.

Key Responsibilities:



New Business Development:

Identify, prospect, and acquire new clients such as fleet owners/transporters.

On-Ground Sales & Relationship Building:

Conduct regular field visits and meetings with potential and existing clients to understand their logistics challenges and demonstrate how the FORWRD.IN platform provides effective, cost-efficient solutions.

Platform Demonstration:

Clearly articulate the features and benefits of our online marketplace, including digital load posting, real-time bidding, direct contact, and zero commission model.

Sales Cycle Management:

Manage the entire sales process from lead generation and qualification to negotiation and deal closure.

Target Achievement:

Consistently meet and exceed individual sales targets and KPIs related to new user onboarding and transaction volume.

Market Intelligence:

Gather market insights, competitor information, and customer feedback to contribute to product development and sales strategy.

Documentation & Onboarding:

Assist clients with profile creation, KYC, and initial onboarding onto the FORWRD platform.

Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status in CRM or designated reporting tools.

Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field is preferred. Proven experience (1-3 years) in field sales or business development, preferably within the logistics, transportation, or B2B tech/marketplace sector. Strong understanding of the logistics and trucking industry landscape is a significant advantage. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to work independently, manage a territory effectively, and achieve targets. Self-motivated, proactive, and persistent with a strong "can-do" attitude. Proficiency in using mobile applications and comfortable with digital platforms. A valid driver's license and own two-wheeler (bike) are mandatory for extensive field travel. Proficiency in local languages and English (verbal and written) is required.
