Job Description

A field sales executive in the marble and plywood industry drives sales by meeting clients and building relationships with distributors, architects, builders, and contractors. The role involves extensive travel within a designated territory, requiring deep product knowledge and strong interpersonal skills. Core responsibilities

Business development:

Identify and pursue new sales opportunities by targeting potential customers, including architects, builders, contractors, and interior designers.

Relationship management:

Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with both existing and potential customers to secure repeat business.

Sales strategy:

Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed sales targets for marble, plywood, and related products.

Client meetings:

Travel to client locations and construction sites to conduct product presentations and demonstrations.

Negotiation and closing:

Discuss pricing, specifications, and contract terms with clients to close profitable sales deals.

Market intelligence:

Gather and analyze market and competitor information to help inform sales strategies and identify new opportunities.

Reporting:

Track sales activities, manage customer data in a CRM system, and provide regular sales forecasts and reports to management.
Key skills and qualifications

Proven sales experience:

A track record of success in field sales, preferably within the building materials or construction industry.

Product knowledge:

In-depth understanding of the different types and applications of marble, plywood, laminates, and veneers.

Excellent communication:

The ability to present product features clearly and persuasively, and to listen actively to customer needs.
